Pricing Both foundations retail for $43 for 1 oz.  But if you want a pump on your Double Wear bottle, you’ll need to fork over an additional $10 for the Estee Lauder pump – or grab one from another brand or an old bottle of foundation.

Shades Lancome offers 50 shades of Teint Idole to choose from. Estee Lauder offers more choices, with 56 shades of Double Wear listed on its website. You can see my shades in these and other foundations HERE on the blog.

Claims and Ingredients Both foundations have nearly identical claims. Both claim to have 24-hour wear and provide buildable medium-to-full coverage with a natural matte finish. Both also claim to be lightweight and to stay color-true for 24 hours even in hot, humid weather. Neither contains additional fragrance.

Consistency Lancome Teint Idole has a medium to medium-thick consistency, yet it blends out nicely. On the other hand, Estee Lauder Double Wear is relatively thin. (Shown in the video below the post)

Final Thoughts Teint Idole is easy and quick to apply, suitable for all skin types, and is an excellent natural-looking foundation to have for a long work or errand-running day

Final Thoughts Double Wear’s application is rewarded with a worry-free, natural matte finish that rarely needs any touch ups. When I need a foundation for an event or one that will take you from morning into the night, this is my pick.
