5 Merit Products Absolutely Worth the Hype
If you’ve spent any time scrolling Instagram or TikTok, chances are you’ve seen Merit pop up in your feed. The brand has quickly become a go-to for people who want simple, polished makeup without all the fuss. I’ve tested my fair share of their products, and while not every single one has been a home run for me, these five have become go-to products for me.
Whether you’re looking for that “no makeup makeup” vibe or you want products that don’t require a 20-step routine, here are the Merit products I think are totally worth the hype.

Top Favorite Merit Products
Bronze Balm
I’m picky about bronzers because they can easily look muddy or patchy, be hard to blend, or fade quickly. Bronze Balm from Merit has a buildable, sheer formula, ensuring you never have to worry about over-applying. The texture glides on ultra-smoothly, and it blends out like a dream. It gives your face the right amount of warmth without looking orange or leaving harsh lines. It only takes a minute to achieve a naturally sun-kissed look!
Signature Lipstick
Merit Signature lipstick gives the right amount of color payoff without the heavy feel of a traditional lipstick formula. It’s lightweight, creamy, and has a soft, satin finish that leaves your lips feeling hydrated. Plus, their shades are extremely wearable for everyday. I love the thin consistency and how good my lips feel when I wear these.
Solo Shadow
If you’re looking for eyeshadow that is quick and easy to apply, look no further! Solo Shadow features a cream-to-powder formula that blends seamlessly, whether applied with your finger or a brush. You can go sheer for slight color or build up for more impact. They set quickly and wear well all day. I love swiping these on my lids and blending them into and above my crease for a one-and-done look. It takes very little time and effort to look completely put together.
Day Glow
This is one of those highlighters you can’t really mess up. It’s balmy, not glittery, giving your skin that lit-from-within glow without accentuating texture or fine lines. You can swipe this on the tops of your cheekbones and down the bridge of your nose for an easy, more awake appearance. Even on no makeup days, Day Glow enhances and flatters your skin naturally. It’s a lovely, natural highlighter to add to your arsenal.
The Uniform
I’ve already written a full review of The Uniform, but it deserves a spot here too. Finding a mineral sunscreen that doesn’t leave a white cast or feel heavy is harder than it should be, but Merit did a great job with The Uniform. This tinted SPF 45 sunscreen blends seamlessly into your skin without feeling heavy or greasy. Because it’s fairly shiny before setting, I thought it would make me oily during the day, but it doesn’t. Powder tones it down nicely, leaving it looking completely natural. I can wear it as a standalone sunscreen, under makeup, or sheered out as a natural skin tint. The Uniform turned out to be a versatile favorite that I reach for frequently!
Merit is all about streamlining your routine while still feeling put together, and these five products do a great job of doing that. They’re easy to use, flattering, and reliable. If you’ve been wondering where to start with the brand, I recommend any of these options. And if you already have a few in your collection, let me know which Merit products you swear by in the comments below!
