Recent Affordable & Drugstore Makeup Favorites

I love shopping at stores like Sephora for my beauty needs, but you can’t beat the convenience and cost of drugstore makeup. Over the years, I’ve tried a lot of drugstore makeup, with many of these products earning permanent spots in my makeup bag.

Some of these products from affordable brands like Catrice, NYX Cosmetics, and L’Oreal, to name a few, are good enough to rival your designer favorites.

This eyeshadow primer has been in my rotation for years! It has a creamy consistency, that blends out quickly and doesn’t feel heavy or tacky. And it keeps my eye liner and eye shadow fresh for hours.

CoverGirl TruBlend Skin Enhancer Velvet Blur Primer

Recent Affordable & Drugstore Makeup Favorites

Retailing under $15, this primer is silky, lightweight, silicone-based, and skincare-infused. It smoothes, blurs, and leaves a soft matte finish. I enjoy that this doesn’t have that slippery silicone feel that many silicone-based primers have. This one has more of a lotion feel to it that sinks into my skin nicely.

ULTA Beauty Everyday Faves Eyeshadow Palette

Affordable & Drugstore Makeup

This neutral eye shadow palette has been a favorite of mine as of late! It features 12 neutral matte and shimmer shades. The shimmers apply smoothly to my lid with my finger without leaving chunks of fallout around my eye. All of the shadows blend out nicely and allow you to create some lovely neutral everyday looks.

CoverGirl Eye Enhancer 3D Mascara

This mascara claims to curl, lift, and fan your lashes. There are two shades: Berry Brown with a slight red undertone and Intense Black. This gives my lashes nice length and volume. And they claim you won’t need to use a lash curler with this mascara. But if you have stubborn, straight lashes like I do, you’ll most likely still need to curl beforehand. However, thanks to CoverGirl’s “lifting waxes” that help keep your lashes curled, it does a nice job of keeping a flared, lifted look to my lashes.

Rimmel London 25-Hour Lasting Finish Foundation

Every time I’ve worn this foundation, I’ve thought it might be giving my Maybelline Fit Me Matte & Poreless Foundation a run for its money! It blends out exceptionally easily and gives a soft matte flattering finish. I love that it remains natural-looking no matter if I wear it medium or medium-full coverage. Dare I say it even feels hydrating on my skin?

Lottie London Ready Set! Go Under Eye Setting Powder in Brightening Pink

I’ve really been enjoying this pink under-eye setting powder! It’s very finely milled and is one of the only pink powders available at the drugstore. I use a small powder brush to lightly tap and press it under my eyes. It does a beautiful job of diffusing texture under my eyes with a soft matte finish. I’ve also used this powder to set my face and have loved the outcome!

ColourPop Liquid Blush

Affordable & Drugstore blush

This $10 blush is supposed to be a dupe for Rare Beauty blush. But I like this formula better. It blends out easily and quickly, yet gives you time to work with it, so you don’t have to worry about it setting too fast. They also don’t build so fast that you go overboard right away. You can wear them sheer or build up the pigment. Out of the eight shades they are available in, I have three, which you can see in the below video. To apply, I simply swipe the wand on the back of my hand before swirling my brush into it. And then I start blending it out on my cheeks.

ColourPop So Juicy Plumping Glossy Lip Oil

Affordable & Drugstore Makeup

These $10 lip oils are available in eight shades. Because they’re infused with peptides, ceramides, squalane, and jojoba seed oil, they hydrate your lips without being sticky. I love the high shine, glossy look, and sheer color. Instead of plumping with a stinging, burning, or tingling sensation, they simply help smooth your lip lines so your lips look fuller. I also enjoy the peppermint cookie scent and taste!
