Because air travel and staying in hotels can dehydrate our skin, bringing extra-hydrating skincare is crucial. Drunk Elephant B-Hydra Intensive Hydration Serum is one of my go-to products to revitalize my travel-parched skin without adding extra oil or heaviness. It’s designed for all skin types, delivering deep hydration and leaving your skin plump + radiant. It can now be your secret weapon for a youthful complexion and a travel glow.

A nice daily moisturizer that does more than just moisturize is also essential for travel. Look for a multipurpose moisturizer that hydrates, primes, and protects your skin from environmental stressors. Bonus points if it contains SPF to shield your skin from the sun’s harmful rays. If not, be sure to top your moisturizer with a good SPF! This moisturizer from La Roche-Posay does triple the work in one product! If you have oily or combo skin, they make a great mattifying/hydrating moisturizer too! I’m singling this brand out specifically because of the fantastic ingredients they use at such a great price point.

5. Multitasking Makeup Palette

When traveling, you may not have room to pack all your face and eye palettes, so bringing a multitasking palette that can handle face AND eyes is a game changer. The above palettes give you everything you need to bronze, contour, highlight, and blush your face. And all shades look gorgeous on the eyes too. the first palette is available in a light and dark version so all skin tones are covered. These palettes are great for travel and for days when you need to get ready and get out the door quickly!

Travel schedules can be jam-packed. And most times we have no idea what the water will be like where we’re going. I know I’ve ended up with limp hair more times than I can count because of the type of water at my destination. Even after washing, having dry shampoo with me saved me many times from having limp oily hair. And if you’re short on time, dry shampoo can be your best friend to freshen up your hair after a long day of fun to absorb odor and oil that accumulates throughout the day. Eva NYC Freshen Up Invisible Dry Shampoo is a nicely priced light dry shampoo that smells incredible. If you’re flying they make a 1-ounce travel size too!

7. Eye Patches

I always seem to end up with tired, puffy eyes when I travel. A few months ago, I discovered these incredible gold gel eye masks and fell in love with them instantly! I store these in the fridge and reach for them in the morning when my eyes need a pick-me-up. They’re soothing and hydrating and do a fantastic job with depuffing and helping me look more awake. Plus they don’t slide down and aren’t so huge that they swallow my entire face like a lot of eye patches do. I make sure to grab a few for my travel bag because I’m all for looking more refreshed and rejuvenated on the go! I recommend these to everyone!

8. Lip Balm

Traveling isn’t just drying on your skin, but also your lips. So you definitely need good lip balm when you travel. Summer Fridays Lip Butter Balm is the perfect multi-tasking travel beauty essential because it’s thin, comfortable, and hydrating, can double as a sheer or tinted gloss, and smells and tastes divine! There are several scents/flavors to choose from. If you’re a coffee lover, definitely check out their new launch, Iced Coffee. I can’t get enough of it!
