Welcome back to my blog! Who doesn’t love a good drugstore roundup of high-performing products that are affordable? Here are some of the drugstore products that I’ve been reaching for and loving lately and think you will too!
Milani Conceal + Perfect Blur Out Powder
Milani Conceal & Perfect Powder is an affordable powder that performs just as well as high-end. It leaves a lovely invisible non-powdery finish that feels silky smooth on my skin. A small amount of this translucent powder goes a long way for blurring your pores resulting in a luminous matte finish. If you have textured skin, this is an excellent product for helping eliminate the appearance of imperfections.
Kokie Artist Palette
This Kokie Artist Palette will be one of my go-to eye products this summer. Though there are different color stories to choose from, I’m loving Goddess for its warm tones that are perfect for spring and summer. This palette has everything from matte, satin, and shimmering finishes. All of them are blend like a dream and have nice color payoff. Plus its versatility lets you create a gorgeous yet simple one-and-done look or a full everyday multi-dimensional look.
Loreal Age Perfect 4-in-1 Tinted Balm
I love a good skin-like foundation for mature skin, and Loreal Age Perfect Foundation hits it out of the park. This formula melts into your skin to smooth out fine lines and even out your skin tone. It also has skincare benefits, which makes it ideal for those of us over 40. I love that it doesn’t feel heavy or make me shiny in my t-zone and looks beautiful on my dry areas as well. This is a great skin-like foundation for the warmer months ahead.
I Dew Care Rolling With it Facial Massage Tool
Let’s talk about a new skincare favorite of mine that I shared in a recent video, the I Dew Care Facial Massage Tool. The stainless steel ball gives a cooling effect on its own, but you can also freeze or chill this roller for added cooling. The coolness helps with depuffing and soothing the skin. I love to use this in the morning or on hot days either on its own or when applying facial serums. It’s also nice to use over a sheet mask!
Kokie Lip Liner
I love how affordable this Kokie Lip Liner is yet how high-end it feels and looks. There are 14 gorgeous colors to choose from, including several fantastic nudes. This mechanical pencil gives a long-wearing satin-matte finish that I find very flattering. It also doesn’t feather, which is a must for mature beauty lovers.
Wet n Wild Mega Slicks
Wet n Wild Mega Slicks gloss is less than $3 and is one of my favorite gloss formulas of all time. If I didn’t know better, I’d think this was high-end. I get more compliments when I wear the shade Bronzed Berry than any other shade I own. Seriously – every time I wear it, someone asks me what’s on my lips! I was recently featured in Bustle’s 30 Beauty Experts Share Their Favorite Cheap Product On Amazon article sharing my love for this fantastic gloss! The formula is dreamy with a nourishing feel and a beautiful shine. It has great pigment and contains hyaluronic acid, vegan collagen, and jojoba oil to nourish lips. I love that it isn’t sticky at all and has a pleasant, light vanilla scent.
Pixi On the Go Blush Stick
I adore this Pixi Blush Stick so much! Because the pigmentation is buildable, you can wear it ultra-sheer or add more color. It gives you a lot of control, resulting in a glowy fresh look. You can even swipe this on your lips for some instant color and moisture. Plus it’s packed with antioxidant benefits like ginseng and aloe vera.
Hard Candy Eye Def Eyeshadow Marker
If you’ve been following me for a while now, you know I love a good eyeshadow crayon. You can see the new Hard Candy Eye Eyeshadow Markers in action in my recent monthly favorites video. Just swipe it on, blend the edges, and you’re good to go! They glide on seamlessly, blend well over each other, and give you time to work with them before setting. Plus they remain flattering and beautiful on the lids while remaining smudge-free throughout the day. I’m super impressed with these!
Lotte London Cheeky Kiss
Another cheek & lip duo I love from the drugstore is this Lotte London Cheeky Kiss. These provide nice pigment and fill in lip lines while hydrating my lips. I was actually surprised at how the little heart shaped applicator makes for such an easy application! They’re also not too dewy that you can’t use them on your cheeks. These are great streamlined multitaskers to keep on hand!
Physicians Formula Butter Glow Liquid Bronzer
Physicians Formula Butter Glow Liquid Bronzer is a new spring and summer must-have to bring an instant glowy tan to your face. This has more of a lotion texture and a warmer tone than my beloved Drunk Elephant D-Bronzi Drops which are made to be mixed into products. Butter Glow is more of a moisturizer-type product that can be applied alone or under foundation. While I can use D-Bronzi on my legs (mixed into body lotion), I don’t recommend doing so with Butter Glow as it transfers onto clothing and sofas, car seats, etc. I love it for my face and neck though! This is an ideal affordable product for giving your face a sunkissed glow in spring and summer but without the sun’s harmful rays.
