YOUR Top 12 January Favorites

January Favorites

I can’t believe we’ve already finished a full month of 2023. Here are YOUR top favorite products from January!

Givenchy Prism Libre Loose Powder

Top 12 January

This Givenchy Setting Powder is a stunningly beautiful product and is loved by many. It brightens while mattifying shine and simultaneously giving a soft lit-from-within radiance. The four shades of powder mixed together seem to have a magical effect that flatters incredibly well. It also does a fantastic job of melting into the skin to blur imperfections and pores. There are several shades to choose from. And it’s amazing for all skin types.

Hokas

Top 12 January

I now know what all the hype is about when it comes to Hokas. These are hands down some of the most comfortable tennis shoes I’ve ever owned. They’re light as air and feel like I’m walking on a cloud. I highly recommend these if you have knee or foot problems and need a comfortable and supportive shoe. Plus they’re super trendy this January. I love it when fashion and comfort come together all in one!

Bobbi Brown Corrector Stick

Top 12 January

I often praise this Corrector Stick for its remarkable ability to beautifully correct my under-eye discoloration. It’s a lightweight and creamy formula that works great under any concealer. In addition, the shade bisque is my perfect tone to counter-balance my dark circles so that my concealer conceals better while using less. So if you have dark circles, this is a must-have!

It Cosmetics Brow Power Micro

Top 12 January

Another long-time favorite this January is the It Cosmetics Brow Power Micro in Universal Taupe shade. Its teeny tiny dash-shaped pencil tip lets you create precise hair-like strokes. This is the perfect shape if you want to mimic your natural brow hair but don’t have the time or patience to deal with a pen. Excellent for those with sparse or uneven brows that need filling in. It’s also not waxy, so you get a nice line that’s not too harsh when you press down. Don’t worry if you overdo it; the brush at the end helps blend in the product for a natural finish.

Midi Knockout Studs

Top 12 January

I get so many compliments on these Stud Earrings. They make the perfect simple statement with various types of outfits. They’re on trend yet classic at the same time. And I love that they’re not something you see every day. There are several beautiful colors to choose from. I have been loving them all January, and with Valentine’s Day right around the corner (and Mother’s Day soon after), these would make the perfect gift!

Milani Conceal & Perfect Powder

Top 12 January

Milani Conceal & Perfect Powder is an affordable powder that performs just as well as high-end. It leaves a lovely finish that feels silky smooth on my skin. A small amount of this translucent powder goes a long way for blurring your pores resulting in a luminous matte finish.

HUDA BEAUTY Concealer

Top 12 January

Huda Beauty Concealer is perfect for both brightening and concealing under eyes as well as blemishes or imperfections. It has medium to full buildable coverage and wears well all day. I love how natural it looks and how it flatters my over-45-year-old under eye area and never emphasizes the dryness I experience between November and January. I prefer to apply this concealer with a barely-damp sponge rather than my fingers. It melts the product into my skin so it looks super natural.

Drunk Elephant Bouncy Brightening Mask

This Drunk Elephant Brightening Mask with 10% Azelaic Acid + 1% Salicylic Acid is great for all skin types. It can bring back radiation to your complexion if your skin has been suffering from dullness or blemishes. Plus, it contains essential nutrients that help alleviate redness and clarify uneven skin tone and texture. Because it contains azelaic acid, it’s particularly beneficial if you have rosacea like me. I love that it’s not greasy or heavy and can be mixed with products I currently use or layered on top of my nighttime skincare.

Cinema Secrets Brush Cleaner

Top 12 January

You guys seem to love Cinema Secrets brush cleaner as much as I do! It’s so easy and quick to use. If you’re not the best at taking time to clean your brushes, I highly recommend this. No water is needed! Just swirl your brush or tool in the cap and then pat dry. Done! You can’t get any easier than that!

INH Quick Slick

This is for you if you struggle with flyaways or hate loose ends. INH Quick Slick is a product I didn’t know I needed until I tried it. Now I don’t leave the house unless I have this with me. One quick swipe and this does its magic to tame flyaways without making my hair stiff, sticky, gummy, or wet looking. Plus, it’s portable and perfect for on-the-go and quick touch-ups.

CHI Spin n Curl

Top 12 January

I’ve probably mentioned the CHI Spin N Curl dozens of times, but it’s truly been a game-changer for me! It effortlessly creates beautiful curls by simply holding hair in place and letting it do its thing. You just place the “tulip” opening towards your head, press the button, let it twirl your hair inside, and release. Repeat all over your head, and you’re all set. You end up with bouncy curls that last. There’s no way to burn yourself, either!

Facial Smoothies

Top 12 January

If you’re like me and have some facial expression lines but are prolonging Botox, are hesitant about getting it, or want to prolong the time between visits, this is such a great product to have on hand. Facial Smoothies Strips are clear stickers for your face that help prevent wrinkles and smooth your skin. I apply these at night before bed whenever I feel they’re needed. The pack I have includes various sizes for different facial areas. I love these and consider them a must-have product. It seems like loads of you do too!

What shade do you use on the Givenchy loose powder? I’m quite intrigued by it. I picked up the Bobbi Brown corrector after you recommended it and it’s now my favorite as well.

Is it just me or does the Cinema Secrets smell like gasoline? It does work very well but I hesitate to use it because the odor lingers on my brushes even after they are dry.

It does have an odor to it but I feel like it goes away after they’re dry. I blot/swipe my brushes off pretty well on a towel to speed up the drying process. So maybe that helps?
