I’m back with another monthly round-up of beauty products popular across my YouTube channel, blog, and socials. These are the products that resonated with you the most in December! Enjoy!
Laura Mercier Caviar Sticks
I’ve shared my love for Laura Mercier Caviar Sticks many times because they are fantastic one-and-done eyeshadows. You can simply swipe them on your lids, smudge, and go! These are quick to apply, have a lot of pigment, allow me to smudge them as liner (which is so flattering as we get a bit older), and last all day long. These give me flexibility if I’m in a hurry or want simple & easy makeup.
INH Quick Slick
If you struggle with flyaways or hate the loose ends and flyaways when you wear your hair up, this is for you. INH Quick Slick is a product I didn’t know I needed until I tried it. Now I don’t leave the house unless I have this with me. One quick swipe and this does its magic to tame fllyaways without making my hair stiff, sticky, gummy, or wet looking. Plus, it’s portable and perfect for on-the-go and quick touch-ups. It’s also great for taming brows too!
Tarte Maracuja Juicy Lip Plump
Tarte knew what they were doing with adding this plumper to their Maracuja Juicy Lip line! It’s everything your lips need all in one. Tarte Maracuja Juicy Lip Plump gives juicy plush color with high gloss shine to smooth out lips and make them appear plumper. It also has tons of hydrating and nourishing ingredients that treat and boost collagen. I have this in multiple shades because I can’t get enough of it!
CHANEL Le Rouge Duo Ultra Tenue
I am usually not a fan of liquid lip colors, but this Le Rouge Duo from Chanel was a total game-changer. This has an ultra-saturated lipstick on one side and a high-shine gloss on the other that locks in the product and stays creamy and comfortable throughout the day. These are truly bulletproof all day long – even through eating and drinking! I’ve tried all the other double-ended “bulletproof” lip products out there, hoping to find something that comes close at a better price, but nothing holds a candle to this formula. This is truly a holy grail item for me.
If you notice some facial expression lines but are hesitant about getting Botox or want to prolong the time between visits, this is a great product to have on hand. Facial Smoothies Strips are stickers for your face that help prevent wrinkles and smooth your skin. In the past, I’ve tried the better-known Frownies and medical tape for this same purpose. While both work, these are so much easier to apply and remove. I’m a big fan and love keeping these on hand.
Aerin Amber Musk
If you are into warm vanilla scents, Aerin Amber Musk Perfume is definitely worth adding to your collection. Definitely on the more luxurious side of scents, it’s the perfect mixture of sensual florals and vanilla cream musk. The hints of coconut water and warm amber make this a very delightful and feminine scent. It’s perfect for any season and any occasion.
Kopari Beauty Starry De-Puff Eye Balm
Another hugely underrated product is Kopari Starry Eye Balm. This is the perfect makeup prep-step if you’re over 40 or have dryness or texture under your eyes. This is an extremely lightweight balm with coconut oil, which helps nourish and hydrate. It also has coffee oil, which helps depuff and helps with the natural circulation under the eye. All of these things help brighten, hydrate, nourish, plump, and lessen the appearance of dark circles. A tiny bit goes a long way! This little pan lasts forever!
NIRA Skin Laser
The NIRA Laser is a game-changing skincare tool I added to my routine in 2022. I’m so happy this technology is finally available for us to use at home. This laser is perfect if you have some fine lines or wrinkles around the eye area and are looking for smoothing and lifting. It stimulates natural collagen production, which gives the appearance of younger-looking skin. You use it on dry skin for just two minutes a day and then hydrate well after. It’s so easy and gives visible results within several weeks!
Maybelline Vinyl Ink
The viral Maybelline Vinyl Ink is another exception to my liquid lipstick rule. It’s comfortable, flattering, and gives a creamy finish instead of matte. These last and wear beautifully and are an amazing price! You apparently love them too!
Tatcha Silk Peony Eye Cream
I adore the Tatcha Silk Peony Eye Cream. It feels luxurious and is excellent if you have sensitive skin, specifically close to the eye area. Especially in the wintertime, my eyes can get super dry, and this cream helps support the natural skin barrier. The formula is silky smooth and helps moisturize the skin while softening fine lines and wrinkles.
I’ve tried quite a few different exfoliating mitts, and the MicrodermaMitt is one of the best I’ve ever tried. Although no soap is needed, I’ve used it with and without. It works either way. I just slip my hand right in it, rub it all over, and any dry flakes vanish. My skin feels squeaky clean and smooth when I’m finished. Regular use keeps my skin in excellent condition. And because that outer layer of dead skin is gone, my body care products penetrate more deeply and absorb better.
Cinema Secrets Brush Cleaner
You guys seem to love Cinema Secrets brush cleaner as much as I do! It’s so easy and quick to use. If you’re not the best at taking time to clean your brushes, I highly recommend this. No water needed! Just swirl your brush or tool in it and then dry. Done! You can’t get any easier than that!
