I’ve really enjoyed sharing some of my very favorite products from 2022 with you! And today, I’m giving my blog readers a sneak peek of several of the best skin and haircare products I discovered last year. This video is going up soon on my Youtube channel, but here’s your first look at some of my faves!
Glow Recipe AHA Watermelon Night Treatment
I wasn’t expecting to love Glow Recipe Watermelon Glow AHA Night Treatment as much as I do, but it surprised me! You can use this 2-3 times a week after your regular nighttime skincare routine. The result is plump, glowy skin in the morning. Every time I use this, my skin feels amazing the next day, especially during the colder months. It’s lightweight and moisturizes while it treats, so you never feel dry or parched. Since starting this treatment, I’ve noticed a cons
iderable difference in calming and evening out my skin tone.
Beauty Pie Pure Ceramides Elastic Boost Eye Serum
If your under-eye area isn’t bouncing back like it used to or looks less than stellar lately, ceramides may be precisely what you’re missing. Ceramides are also great for achieving glowy skin and evening-out skin tone. I love using this Pure Ceramides Elastic Boost Serum in the morning to depuff with the rollerball applicator and to add an extra nourishing, hydrating boost under my regular eye cream. It’s a staple that I won’t be without and, in my opinion, is one of Beauty Pie’s products that makes the membership totally worth it.
Tatcha Silk Peony Eye Cream
Many Tatcha skincare products agree beautifully with my sensitive skin. This Silk Peony Eye Cream is no exception. I simply adore it. It feels incredibly luxurious and hydrating, yet it’s not heavy. The formula is silky smooth and helps moisturize the skin while softening fine lines and wrinkles. And because this cream helps support the natural skin barrier, it does a fantastic job when my under eyes feel super dry. It’s also great for mature skin.
INH Quick Slick
INH Quick Slick became a fast holy grail product for me and was one of my favorite 2022 Amazon beauty finds, so I had to include it in this list. If you struggle with flyaways or hate loose ends and flyaways when you wear your hair up, this is for you. One quick swipe and this does its magic to tame flyaways without making my hair stiff, sticky, gummy, or wet looking. It’s perfect for on-the-go and quick touch-ups and for taming brows too. I don’t leave the house unless I have this with me. To hear more about it, check it out in my 25 Best Amazon Must Haves of 2022 Video.
Kopari Ceramide Cream
Kopari Ceramide Cream is one of my favorite new beauty launches in 2022. If you have sensitive or dry skin, this is an excellent moisturizer. It locks in moisture for 72 hours after applying while protecting your skin’s natural barrier. It also doesn’t pill when I wear it under makeup but leaves my skin instantly glowing. It’s lightweight yet hydrates beautifully and contains ceramides that help seal in moisture, seal out harmful elements, and protect the skin barrier.
Hot Tools 2″ Curling Iron
If you want that easy soft bend to your hair, this 2″ barrel curling iron is where it’s at! It’s perfect for those of us that want something a little different or more than straight hair, but don’t want full-out waves or curls. It makes my hair look fuller than it is with a shine and a bounce to it. I also love the length of the barrel, which makes it easy to work with.
JVN Blowout Styling Milk
JVN Blowout Styling Milk is a fantastic all-in-one haircare product that helps with everything from anti-frizz to heat protection. I have fine hair and use this before blow drying. It’s great for all hair types, is lightweight, helps with style and frizz control, and doesn’t weigh my hair down in the least. Plus it leaves my hair shiny, so I don’t need an extra finisher when I’m finished styling!
Color Wow Root Cover Up
You all recommended Color Wow to me last year, and it ended up being one of my favorite haircare purchases! I love this for touching up parts of my hair where you can see my scalp, whether along my part or in various areas when I pull my hair back. It’s portable and easy to use by just dabbing it on with the brush. It looks natural and stays on all day, even in the Louisiana heat.
Replica Lazy Sunday Morning
On the fragrance side of this lineup, I have to share one of my all-time 2022 finds, Lazy Sunday Morning perfume. This scent is warm and cozy with key notes of lily of the valley, iris, and white musk. It says right on the bottle “soft skin and bed linen” and that’s exactly what I get from it. This is a fragrance I can throw on any time of day for any occasion – even before bed – and it just works. It is, in fact, perfect for a lazy Sunday morning, when you want a cozy warm vibe.
Sephora Collection Brightening Dual Facial Enzyme Exfoliator
I was pleasantly surprised when I discovered this Sephora Dual Enzyme Exfoliator. It’s a fantastic buy at under $15 too! This scrub is fragrance-free and great for normal to oily skin. It’s a dual-action exfoliator that uses physical and chemical exfoliation to remove dead skin cells for a smoother and brighter complexion. If you’re wanting to improve uneven texture, dullness, acne or blemishes, this may be a great exfoliator for you!
