Happy New Year, Everyone! Today, I’m sharing some drugstore beauty and skincare finds that stood out to me in 2022. I tried so many new products that I loved in 2022 and narrowed it down to the best. To see ALL of my favorite drugstore products from 2022, be sure to check out the video at the bottom of the blog post! All of these products are worth trying in the New Year, so let’s get started!
L’Oreal Age Perfect Foundation
This L’Oreal Balm Foundation is not one I was expecting to love so much. It’s a tinted balm that evens skin tone and gives coverage, plus has skincare benefits. I love that it helps diminish the appearance of fine lines over time. This applies to my skin very elegantly and feels lightweight and hydrating and is perfect for that no-makeup-makeup, your-skin-but-better look.
NYX Concealer
Despite the NYX Bare with Me Concealer Serum being a medium-lightweight formula, it works well for me. I typically wear fuller coverage concealers because I have discoloration underneath my eyes. I also have tear troughs, so I need some help with shadows. With this concealer, I typically wear a corrector underneath it to help my discoloration. It doesn’t matter if I wear a corrector underneath or set it with powder – it looks like skin with a beautiful flattering finish and never emphasizes anything it shouldn’t
Elf Halo Glow
Everyone raves about Elf Halo Glow being a dupe for the Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Flawless Filter. Even though I love this glowy product, I disagree. It has more of a dewy skin tint finish rather than a shimmery luminous glow like Charlotte TIlbury HFF. Halo Glow has minimal coverage and helps even skin tone yet gives a natural look. I typically use shade 3 and love this for a natural dewy highlighter.
L’Oréal Infallible Bronzer
I love this L’Oreal Infallible 24-Hour Fresh Wear Bronzer for a natural bronzed look at an affordable price. Because of its smooth application and long-lasting wear, this drugstore product is easily as good as high-end. I love it for all skin types. For reference, I use shade medium and love the creamy buildable formula.
Kokie Soft Gradient Blush
These Kokie Blushes flew under the radar this year and have been one of my favorites. They apply and blend beautifully. I love the versatile coverage from the gradient and how you can truly customize them to your liking and your makeup look of the day. Plus, they have a variety of shades for every skin tone!
Maybelline Vinyl Ink
I usually am not a fan of liquid lipsticks, but the viral Maybelline Vinyl Ink is the exception because it’s comfortable, flattering, and isn’t a dry matte. This liquid lip color applies perfectly, even without a lip liner, since the tip of the brush is stiff. It has a bit of a sheen, so it has a creamy look, which I prefer. And these last beautifully all day long.
Wet n Wild Gloss
Wet n Wild Mega Slicks Lip Gloss is excellent and is less than $3! The formula is spectacular with collagen and hyaluronic acid to moisturize and condition. There are tons of shades to choose from that have lovely pigment to them. These feel comfortable and never sticky. If I didn’t know better, I’d think this was high-end! FYI – my favorite shade is Bronzed Berry. It’s been living in my bag!
Neutrogena Retinol Serum

I started using this Neutrogena Serum about a year ago because my sensitive skin wasn’t handling my Rx retinol very well at the time. I’ve been using it ever since! I love that it has a super lightweight consistency that’s gentle on my skin yet still powerful.
Olay Collagen Peptide Cream
Olay Regenerist Collagen Peptide 24 isn’t just a regular moisturizer. This product’s peptides help your skin’s natural renewal process. The texture is lovely and it’s fragrance-free. It sinks in so nicely that my skin feels lovely and moisturized but never greasy or tacky. Keep in mind I have combination skin that gets oily in the T-zone, but I can also get some dryness around the perimeter of my face. This works well for my skin type and is a reasonable price for a high-quality skin care product.
Niacinamide Peptide & Retinol Duo
I’ve been testing out two other Olay moisturizers – one for day and one for night. Both have been agreeing with my sensitive skin nicely and I love sharing good drugstore finds with you! The Niacinamide Peptide 24 Cream, used in the morning helps moisturize and calm, even out my rosacea, and brighten my skin. And an alternative to the Neutrogena Serum, the Olay Retinol Peptide Night Cream has niacinamide, peptides and retinol for the ultimate anti-aging cocktail.
