Amazing New Beauty Releases

Amazing New Beauty Releases

Today I’m sharing some new makeup and beauty releases that I’ve been loving lately!

Sigma Blushes, Bronzers & Highlighters

I’ve said many times that I don’t understand why we hear so much about Sigma’s brushes, but we don’t hear about their cosmetics line nearly as much. The quality is truly amazing! They recently launched individual blushes, bronzers and highlighters that I’ve been loving. I’ve been wearing their medium matte bronzer on repeat. It blends out beautifully and is perfect for summer, even if you have a light, medium skin tone like I have.

Some of you may remember this Cor-de-rosa blush palette that everyone seemed to love. So if you want several blush shades to choose from, I highly recommend it. The beauty of their blushes is that you can build them to be stronger or tone them down. They apply smoothly and are never patchy. All of their blush shades are fantastic. The one I have been wearing the most is Berry Love. It’s a little bit pinker than the others and is very flattering.

The highlighter I am loving from Sigma is called Sizzle. It’s a beautiful, champagne shade that can be quite beaming. You can also blend it in with your finger or even a sponge, and control how much glow you want. I’ve been so pleased with the beauty releases from Sigma. Everything from the packaging to the lasting wear has exceeded my expectations.

Smashbox Photo Finish Control Mattifying Primer

Photo Finish Control Mattifying Primer | Smashbox

I’ve been meaning to share this beauty release for a while now. I’ve been reaching for the Smashbox Photo Finish Control Mattifying Primer over and over. When I do a no-makeup makeup look, I sometimes use just a primer and concealer instead of a tinted moisturizer or foundation. Even though this isn’t a correcting primer, this is one of the primers that I reach for because it’s so smoothing. This has been fantastic for my combo/oily skin in my extremely hot and humid New Orleans weather. The primer has a texture similar to lotion that absorbs into the skin nicely. It works really well at controlling my shine throughout the day and has a silkscreen complex that blurs pores beautifully. It’s very lightweight and works well no matter if I’m wearing it by itself or with other products.

Beauty Pie Youthbomb 360 Radiance Concentrate Serum

I recently discovered a new skincare serum from Beauty Pie called Youthbomb 360 Radiance Concentrate Serum. I have picky, sensitive skin and rosacea, and this serum agrees with my skin nicely. I’ve been testing this out for a while now, using it both morning and at night. It feels lightweight, yet it’s nourishing and hydrating. It has proteins, hydrators, neutropeptides, hexapeptides, brighteners, smoothers, soothing and tightening ingredients, and it’s a wonderful glow booster. That glow is sometimes what’s missing in maturing skin, and is what helps us look more youthful. Each ingredient was chosen for its ability to reflect light. There are also no added essential oils or fragrances in this serum.

Some anti-aging serums for mature skin that you apply before treatment products like this one or under makeup can be a little heavy for my skin, leaving it greasy, but this doesn’t. I think this is a great anti-aging, rejuvenating, hydrating serum that can help you get that youthful glow back. Youthbomb 360 Radiance Concentrate Serum is typically priced at $185 but is $48 with a Beauty Pie membership.

If you’re wondering what Beauty Pie is, it’s a shopping service, kind of like Netflix or Costco, where you can pick exactly what you want. It’s not a subscription service; they don’t send you unwanted products. Beauty Pie is for those of you who are looking for luxury beauty products but don’t want to pay luxury prices.

They work with the same labs from around the world that make the same premium products that we know and love. They use the same premium luxury formulations that you’re familiar with but at an accessible price. Beauty Pie allows you to shop directly, which eliminates retailer markups. You can get beauty products without a membership, but you’ll save about 75% with a membership. There’s no monthly limit, no subscription, and no products sent randomly. You’re coming out way ahead if you do the membership, which actually works out to less than $5 a month, and that’s why people refer to Beauty Pie as the Netflix or Costco of the beauty world.

James Molloy Deluxe Eyeshadow Quad

James Molloy Deluxe Eyeshadow Quad - Gold

Another product from Beauty Pie that I have been wearing on my eyes lately is the James Molloy Deluxe Eyeshadow Quad. These eyeshadows are so creamy, blendable, and easy to use. The typical price of these would be $50 but they’re $17 with the Beauty Pie membership. You can take these palettes from subtle to dramatic really easily.

Physician’s Formula Blush & Bronzer

Physicians Formula Earth Day Butter Bronzer - Light Bronzer - 0.38oz : Target

If you’ve been following me for a while, you know I love Physician’s Formula, but I don’t love the bulky packaging of some of their products. I was so excited when I found that they launched new slim packaging for their butter bronzers and butter blushes. I think it’s a limited edition, so I am not sure how long they will be available but I am definitely stocking up! Every purchase goes to plant a tree with the Canopy Project’s Plant a Forest. So not only are you getting a slimmer package, but you’re helping a good cause as well. I wanted to point this out because a lot of us really enjoy the butter formula. They have several shades in the new packaging and the formula is consistent with what I know and love. The formula is nice, silky smooth, and blends well into my skin. I’m just really happy to have them in a slimmer package and I hope they continue making them in this.

Kopari Bumps Be Gone

Kopari recently launched a new KP product called Bumps Be Gone. This is great for those of us that get the red, bumpy, rough skin on our arms, legs, or other skin areas. I feel like no matter how much my skin is moisturized, sometimes that area on the back of my arms just flares up. I noticed a difference with just a couple of uses when I incorporate this into my routine. This has 10% AHA volcanic sand, coconut shells, and green tea extract and is packed with powerful chemical and physical exfoliants for maximum effect. It also has glycolic and lactic acids to decongest pores and hydrating jojoba seed oil and green tea extract to help soothe. I feel like I’ve used other products that have helped, but either they dry my skin out, or they’re hydrating and don’t do quite enough. So far this has been great and the bottle lasts you a long time.

Esum Dual Lip Pencil

Esum Dual Lip Pencil - Blushed (Shade)

This next product is the Esum Dual Lip Pencil in the shade Blushed. There are two sides to it, one side is a more neutral shade, while the other side is a pink shade. It glides on beautifully and adheres nicely. It’s not dry either. This is a great product to keep on hand to get ready quickly and it’s great to travel with. I love the quality and versatility. There are other shades as well, but this is the one that I’ve been reaching for the most, because both sides are pretty neutral and can go with a lot of the lip shades that I personally wear. This is one of those beauty releases I didn’t know I needed in my life until it was in my life, and now I’m really glad I have it.

Tarte Maracuja Juicy Lip Plump

tarte - Maracuja Juicy Lip Plump Mixed Berries 0.095 oz / 2.7 g

I know I’m a broken record with how much I rave about and love the regular Tarte Maracuja Juicy Lips. But they launched a new version that I love just as much – Tarte Maracuja Juicy Lip Plump. Primrose is a beautiful neutral that I’m loving right now. This is such a great lip plumping product – even for those of you who don’t like lip plumpers because it plumps with a minty sensation that doesn’t sting. It flatters and provides some opacity. It’s a product I don’t mind reapplying because it’s so slim and is comfortable to wear. And even though it’s a balm-type product, it seems to last a decent amount of time. It always makes my lips just feel and look good.

My Final Thoughts

That concludes my favorite 2022 beauty launches I’ve been loving this spring. Let me know if you have tried any of these and what your experience has been down in the comments below!
