Today I’m sharing some fantastic drugstore makeup products that are as good as or better than high-end products! I use and love all of these products regularly and hope you enjoy my picks!
Because I’m sharing a variety of brands and products, I’m excited to partner yet again with Walmart for today’s post. I shop there for makeup often and love how many beauty brands they have to choose from now at various price points. I also love that I can shop in-store, do in-store pick up, or shop online with free two- or three-day shipping.
As always, to see the products on me, for more details, or to see these drugstore makeup products in action, check out the corresponding video below the post!
WET N WILD BARE FOCUS TINTED HYDRATOR

I’ve been testing the NEW Wet n Wild tinted hydrator out pretty extensively for an upcoming foundation roundup. It will be in that video as well with a very thorough review, so be sure you’re subscribed to my YouTube channel to catch it! I’m so surprised at how much I’ve been loving this! I’ve been reaching for it not just for testing purposes, but also for everyday wear.
It applies quickly and easily, is oil-free, and is very lightweight on the skin. It also has hyaluronic acid and vegan squalane to keep the skin hydrated all day but without ever feeling heavy or greasy. (I’ll get more into why they claim it’s oil-free but include squalane in the foundation review itself later.) It’s truly buildable from a very sheer skin tint up to light/medium coverage. It looks natural and skin-like while flattering the pores and lasts nicely through the day. I can get oily in my t-zone, so sometimes hydrating products can make me look greasy. This doesn’t do that and it never accentuates any of my little dry flakes if I have them either. You can see it on me in the video below.
I’ve tried some high-end products lately that are sorely disappointing. This is a lovely drugstore makeup product from Wet n Wild that could easily be high-end if you didn’t know better.

FLOWER BEAUTY PETAL POUT

The Flower Beauty Petal Pout Lipstick formula is one of the best out there. They wear beautifully, feel creamy and nourishing, and last a long time on the lips for a bullet lipstick. They basically give you everything that you could want in a lipstick at an affordable price. Plus, the packaging is beautiful. I’ve heard people talk about the shade Spiced Petal being a dupe for a famous high-end lipstick. But the formula in general is fantastic and better than many high-end lipstick formulas. If you haven’t checked these out, it’s time!
You can see Spiced Petal on me down below and find Flower Beauty Petal Pout Lipstick HERE.
MAYBELLINE FULL & SOFT WATERPROOF

Maybelline Full & Soft Waterproof is a mascara that I rotate on a regular basis. I have wimpy lashes that are stick straight. I can wear a couple of coats of this alone to give fullness and length or wear a light layer underneath a super volumizing non-waterproof mascara to hold the curl. It never flakes or smudges and is such a consistent drugstore makeup performer at an amazing price. I just can’t see myself ever being without it!

L’OREAL TRUE MATCH LUMI GLOTION

I’ve talked about Lumi Glotion on my channel several times for good reason. I truly feel like this is an amazing drugstore makeup dupe for that infamous high-end glowy filter product that everyone raves about. If you’re looking for a gorgeous, affordable product that does it all, this is it!

It can give you a beautiful glow from underneath (or mixed into) your foundation, highlight the high points of the face, or be applied with your under-eye concealer to give a more flattering look to your under-eye area. It’s lightweight, flattering, and certainly saves you from spending the money if you’re not ready or if you just don’t want to!
You can see me demo this below. Shop Lumi Glotion HERE.
WET N WILD PHOTOFOCUS EYESHADOW PRIMER

Wet n Wild Photofocus Eyeshadow Primer is an amazing drugstore makeup product! A tiny bit goes a long way to keep your eye shadows from creasing and staying vibrant. Stick shadows apply and wear nicely over this primer too. It smooths on easily and doesn’t accentuate dryness. I reach for both high-end and affordable eyeshadow primers regularly. And this is one that lives on my makeup table because it’s better than many high-end eyeshadow primers out there.

L’OREAL INFALLIBLE NEVER FAIL 16-HOUR EYELINER

I’m becoming pickier about eyeliners as I get older. An eyeliner needs to glide easily over my skin and not skip or drag. Because I like to smudge my eyeliner with a brush (shown below), it needs to give me time to work with it before setting down fully. It also needs to be budge-proof and not smudge or smear during the day. L’oreal Infallible Never Fail 16-Hour Eyeliners are definitely comparable to some high-end eyeliners that I’ve used before. Because they fit all of the above criteria, I reach for them on a regular basis. They function perfectly and last all day and night. I also love the shade Black Brown because it’s not as harsh as black, but is slightly deeper than a regular chocolate brown.

RIMMEL MAXI BLUSH

In the video below, I have on the Rimmel Maxi Blush in the shade Third Base. This is such a great formula that has a hint of a sheen without shimmer. The sheen gives you that soft, lit-from-within radiance that is so flattering, especially as we get a little bit older. It’s also easy to work with, in that it doesn’t lay down so much pigment at first that you wind up with clown cheeks and have to buff it out.

It’s a buildable formula and wears well all day. You can’t ask for much more than that! There’s a reason why I keep reaching for this in my daily life and why it keeps showing up in videos.

SKIN PROUD: A WALMART EXCLUSIVE LINE

Before I wrap things up, I want to share an affordable skincare line I’ve been testing out and liking so far. Skin Proud is exclusive to Walmart and is affordably priced. I have sensitive skin with rosacea and the products I’ve tested thus far have worked nicely for my skin.

The packaging is color-coded to make things easy…Light lids for am, mid-toned for any time of day, deep for pm.
I know many of you are looking for some affordable skincare items and so far these seem pretty promising!
Below are the products I’ve tried. Shop All Skin Proud Products HERE.
• Smooth Talk Serum
• Sleep Hero
• Sorbet Skin
• Frozen Over
• Velvet Cloud Cleanser
I try new products all the time and, of course, share those things with you. But sometimes I like to revisit the products that remain in my rotation and the products I reach for over and over. That’s why there’s a mix of each in this post and video. I’d love to hear about some drugstore makeup products that you think are as great as high-end products in the comments below! -xoxo

This is probably not a good choice, because no one talks about it, and it is on sale on the Neutrogena web site. The Cheeky Wink blush is really nice. The peach shade is so pretty; I’m fair, so a lot of peach blushes are too orangey, or too dark. This actually needs to be built up to show up, but I like that. It also got an Allure Beauty Award, but I’m not sure which year. It’s got a pretty sheen, but it’s not shimmery at all. The prettiest peach blush I have, next to Orgasm and Melani’s Luminoso! (Only comes in two shades, wish they made more!)
