DIY Holiday Makeup Gift Set

Best unique christmas gift ideas for women

Since the holidays are coming up, we will all be looking for gifts for our loved ones. You probably know someone who loves makeup, but you may not be sure what to get them. Well, I’ve got you covered! Below, I have some products that I personally use and think that anyone on your gift list who loves beauty products would be thrilled to receive!

Face Powders

I will be giving you a few options for this category that cover various skin types.

Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Finish

This ultra fine pressed powder gives a very soft, velvety natural finish. It comes in 3 shades. I choose shade 1 as it appears translucent on my light-medium skin. It does a great job at blurring pores and lines and even has nourishing ingredients that our face needs. This powder is good for combination or dry skin and works beautifully under the eyes if you have dryness or texture.

Laura Mercier Translucent

This is the queen of all translucent powders! It softly blurs lines and reduces shine beautifully. It’s weightless and locks in makeup all day long. This is good for all skin types but I do have to mention that I don’t use it under my eyes because that area is dry. I just prefer other powders under the eye (see above). But overall, this is a beautiful powder and now comes in several shades.

W3ll People Bio Brightener Invisible Powder

If you are looking for a talc-free option, this is the one for you! It comes in one universal shade that is translucent and won’t alter the shade of your makeup. It illuminates the complexion for a beautiful glow. This is a very fine powder that can optically defuse fine lines and is good for all skin types.

NARS Liquid Blush

NARS Liquid Blush is the liquid blush that made me do a complete 180 with liquid blush. I was never a fan prior to trying. But the formula is just beautiful! They apply seamlessly and don’t fade throughout the day. I feel like they’d work for any and all skintypes. NARS Liquid Blush gets two thumbs up from me!

Milani Baked Blush

Richly pigmented and highly buildable, the beautiful matte and shimmery shades of Milani Baked Blush are the perfect cheeky pop of color for every skin tone. The warm finish adds a radiance that shapes, contours, and highlights your best features.

Eyes

Some of my favorite products for eyes of 2020! Anyone on your list will love these!

NARS Extreme Effects Eyeshadow Palette

This is a beautiful warm-toned palette option. I really enjoy this palette because it’s versatile, easy, and fun to use. You can get neutral, warm, and even deep looks with this one. I would also recommend their mascara. The NARS Climax Extreme Mascara gives me this really voluminous long lash look that is just a cherry-on-top of my eye makeup.

Natasha Denona Glam Palette

For you neutral and cool toned lovers out there, this palette is for you! ……..If the Glam palette is a little too pricey for you, another great option is the Colourpop Stone Cold Fox palette!

NYX Precision Brow Pencil

The brows frame the face! This brow pencil has been a staple for me for a long time now because it allows me to do my brows really quickly and gives me a natural look.

Hourglass Caution Mascara

An all-in-one mascara that delivers a look of endless length, intense volume, and sky-high lift for extreme, dramatic lashes.

Lipstick

Don’t forget the lips! Any of these would be great gifts!

Charlotte Tilbury

Charlotte Tilbury has so many beautiful shades to choose from. Personally, I love having a classic pinky, nude on hand at all times. JK Magic is perfect for that. This goes well with almost any look I put together. This is in her K.I.S.S.I.N.G. formula (which I prefer) which is creamy, feels nice on the lips, and lasts a decent amount of time. The formula is also really flattering as it also fills in the lip lines, which makes them appear a bit fuller.

Chanel Le Rouge Duo

I’m kicking myself for not trying these sooner! This is a long-wearing full coverage liquid lip color with a high shine top coat. The  lipstick and lipgloss are made to be used together for creating moisturized, budge-proof lipcolor. These truly are budge-proof, transfer proof, and don’t dry out the lips. I have tried and tested these, even with a face mask on, and they don’t rub off. For extra moisture, you can reapply the top if needed. This is truly a miracle lipstick formula for me!
