I know there are some of you that check the blog but don’t check my YouTube channel. And some of you are relatively new to my YouTube channel and may not have seen this video. When I first started my blog (which was a while after I began my channel), I was trying to link my previous videos but then realized you may not want to see blog posts of videos.
But there are occasions where I feel like those videos are pertinent.
Today I’m going to link a video that’s done well on my channel because it shows how to use Tarte Shape Tape if you’re not a YouTuber or a Beauty Guru and have texture or mature under eyes AND dark circles. I created this video because SO MANY Tarte Shape Tape tutorials show it being applied in this big triangular shape underneath the eye. The reality is that this may work for young, perfect skin or if one wears a ton of makeup and likes the cakey look. But in real life, the triangle method of concealer application just isn’t effective. It only emphasizes our texture and looks worse as the day goes on.
As much as I’m trying to get away from doing blog posts that simply re-link videos, this one deserves a spot on the blog. Anytime a video has helped out so many women, I want to share it with everyone! If it helps even one of you with your Shape Tape (or any concealer for that matter) struggles, then my job is done here!
Can you list all the products you used for me please?
OK, I caught it, it is Benefit something, but do you still use that ? Thank you!
I’m sure this is noted some place, but I don’t see it, wondering what kind of corrector you use?
What eye color are you wearing here? Thanks!
Thanks for the video. I’m probably the last person left who hasn’t tried the Shape Tape and am getting ready to purchase so watched a few of your videos. I’ve been stubbornly clinging to my Maybelline age rewind but am noticing more creasing and the it getting patchy as the day wears on, even with setting powder and spray. I do very minimal look “foundation” (if I even wear foundation) but my under eyes need serious help so hopefully I can feather it out enough that I don’t need to add foundation to the mix.
I have a completely off topic question but curious if you know what your wall color is in this video? It is just such a pretty, soft shade and I’m looking to repaint.
It’s BM Quiet Moments. Thank you!
Lovely! Thank you. I did finally buy ST in 2 colors. Neither is quite right and I’m torn about it. Nice coverage but looks dry on me and for the price if it’s not a slam dunk I’m not sure I can justify it. Your video was super helpful on how to apply it though! Would have been an instant NO had I not watched your tips on how to use it. 🙂
I’m glad it helped somewhat! If you haven’t seen my more recent dry undereyes video on my channel (from within the past couple of months), check it out. It may offer you some extra tips and tricks. It’s also helped a lot of people! But sometimes, concealers just don’t work out! Thankfully there are tons to choose from! 🙂
