In this week’s Foundation Road Test, I’m looking at Hourglass Illusion Hyaluronic Skin Tint. For this video I’ve decided to add in a separate day of just applying with my fingers. On this 3rd day I’ll do one half of my face with a primer and the other half without. The first two days are identical to each other (sponge on one side, brush on the other…Day 1 with a primer, Day 2 without a primer). For future videos I may switch it up and do a sponge day, a brush day and a fingers day, doing half primer and half no primer. It just makes more sense. I’m just trying to think of ways to streamline the videos overall so they’re not quite so darned long.
Nutshell: I had issues getting this to work for me. None of the applications worked well or held up long without either breaking up or without loads of shine. I had high hopes for this pricey foundation. Sadly, it didn’t live up to the claims for me. You can see the road test and details in the video below. Until next time! 🙂
To get a good result I prefer to use a beauty sponge.
